GETTING THERE

By car directly to Ballycastle.

Roads are well signposted, and the hotel is on the seafront.  When you get to the town, follow the signs for Rathlin Island Ferry.

There is a public car park behind the hotel.  It is not managed by the hotel and costs £6 per day.  There is also ample free parking within easy walking distance of the hotel, but demand can be high, especially at Bank Holiday weekends.  If you are arriving by car, let us know and we will advise you on parking locations.

If you’re coming by sea, there are two ferry ports, one in Belfast itself and another in nearby Larne, both of which are on main routes linking to Ballycastle.  There are also ports in Dublin and Rosslare.  Any queries, contact the organisers.

Flying/train via Belfast

From Dublin: there are both buses and trains which go to Belfast city centre.

Buses:  https://www.dublinexpress.ie/belfast  https://www.aircoach.ie/belfast                 https://www.dublincoach.ie/all-timetables/m1-express-service

From outside Ireland, direct flights are available from most UK airports to Belfast, which has two airports, and there is a bus service from both to Belfast city centre.

Airport transfers from Belfast International Airport will take a minimum of 45 minutes, while those from Belfast City Airport will require around 30 minutes, unless you opt for a taxi.

If you prefer, you can fly into Dublin Airport and get a coach straight from there to Belfast.

In order to take advantage of the best fares, it is advisable to book early.

The IMAG Special

This is a private hire coach which will leave from Glengall Street, Belfast (2 minutes’ walk from the lunch venue) and travel directly to the Marine Hotel in Ballycastle.  The journey will take around 1½ hours.
