Visit to HMS Caroline (PAYG Taxi)
11.00 From Belfast Grand Central Station. If you are flying into the city airport you can get a taxi straight to the venue. Please let the organisers know if you plan to do this.
This is a guided tour of HMS Caroline, a First World War warship of the C-Cruiser class, located in the Alexandra Graving Dock in Belfast and the last surviving British warship that took part in the Battle of Jutland in 1916.
The tour lasts an hour and a half and will illustrate life at sea over 100 years ago, show where the crew lived and slept, illustrate what life was like during the Battle of Jutland and explore the engine room, preserved just as it was when HMS Caroline was an active warship.
